AREA Science Park is able to evaluate possible innovation needs by means of a technological audit activity, i.e. checking the up-to-dateness of technologies and processes used by a company or research laboratory.

Once the technological needs have been identified and defined, it is possible to start a search of similar situations that are already being solved; at the same time, the technological offer is monitored.

Information on innovation is provided also by databases, like Argo, a search engine developed by AREA Science Park.
