Several fixed and mobile phone operators are active in Italy and in Slovenia, in a territory wired for broad-band Internet connection.
The Telecom Italia and Telekom Slovenije groups are the main operators in the field of fixed telephony and offer several tariffs.

In Friuli Venezia Giulia, it is possible to choose also among Infostrada and Tele2, both for phone and Internet connection. In particular, Tele2 uses the Telecom network, but offers extremely cheap tariffs, especially for privates.
The great possibility to choose among different solutions and several dedicated services allows enterprises to reduce and keep costs of phone and internet connections under control. It is possible to choose among several operators also for mobile telephony, since the territory is fully covered.

Fixed Telephony

The Telecom Italia and Telekom Slovenije groups are fixed telephony leaders in their national territories. Both companies offer the possibility to choose among different tariffs, for privates, small enterprises and medium and large companies. A variety of service packages are offered to companies, including Internet with ISDN and ADSL broad-band connection, intranet networks, control of incoming and outgoing voice traffic. In Italy also Tele2 and Infostrada are active and offer particularly cheap phone tariffs.

Mobile Telephony

The HiCo Region territory is served by several mobile phone operators: TIM (the Telecom brand for mobile telephony), Vodafone, Wind and Tre in Italy; Mobitel (a company of the Telekom Slovenije group), Simobil and VEGA in Slovenia. All companies offer UMTS technology, national coverage and several tariffs, both for privates and for enterprises. The HiCo Region territory is fully covered.
